7 Days Egypt || 7DY-DVD-101 - Egypt is a land of monumental temples, gigantic pyramids, the River Nile and the mysterious Sphinx: 5000 years of history.Founded by Alexander The Great in 332 B.C., the city of Alexandria is located in the Nile Delta and it was here that Caesar and Mark Anthony fell under Cleopatra's spell. Cairo is Africa's largest city and the heart of the Arab world, extreme poverty living next to opulent wealth, and modern, Western boutiques next to ancient souks. The Cairo Museum is home to the most extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities, including the golden mask and tomb of Tutankamun.Towering above almost any other human achievement are the impressive three pyramids of Gisa. The Cheops Pyramid, the world's largest single construction, took four hundred thousand workers twenty years to build. It weighs as much as all the cathedrals in Europe put together and spans an area of 53,000 square metres - the height of a fifty storey skyscraper. In the middle of today's modern city of Luxor, known as the 'Capital City Of The Pharaohs', the Luxor Temple stretches along the eastern banks of the Nile and, not far away, the temple complex of Karnak and the Amun Temple.67 kilometres from Luxor, on the western bank of the Nile, lies the Temple Of Dendera, the most important place of worship for the love goddess, HATHOR, whose heavenly appearance was portrayed by the body of a cow. At Aswan, the landscape of the Nile is enchanting, but it is the stone temples of Abu Simbel that take one back to ancient Egypt, land of the Pharaohs, and archaeological paradise.

7 Days THAILAND || 7DY-DVD-129 - Thailand is a land of smiles and sunshine, the gem of Asia. A fascinating land of contrast, chaotic traffic, serene temples, poverty, wealth, hustle and contemplation. The metropolis of Bangkok boasts many wonderful sights such as Wat Phra Kaeo, the Temple Of The Emerald Buddha, that is highly revered by the Thai people. The city's most important landmark is also its most beautiful temple complex, a wonderful work of art comprising golden Chedis and numerous resplendent buildings. The River Kwai Bridge: the film of the same name made the bridge world famous. In Kanchanaburi the railway spans the wide River Kwai and this bold construction consists of steel and concrete, not wood as was depicted in the film. A bridge that symbolises the brutality of war built by thousands of prisoners of war under the command of the Japanese. Thirteen kilometres north of Bang-In is the former capital of ancient Thailand, Ayutthaya. The most famous historic site in Thailand has retained its exotic appearance. The Wat Mahathat was built in around 1380. Its main feature is a mighty banyan tree whose roots grow around a severed Buddha head. Chiang Mai is the most important city in northern Thailand and is located within a fertile river valley three hundred metres above sea level. The centre of the first independent kingdom in Thailand situated within the famous Golden Triangle. The Hmong are the largest of the northern mountain tribes. They originated in Laos and Southern China and it is believed that this tribe, divided into clans, once had its own kingdom. Thailand is a mysterious land full of contrast, natural beauty and superlative exotica!

7 Days BAHAMAS || 7DY-DVD-116 - Nassau is the capital of the island of New Providence which is one of the many islands of the Bahaman archipelago that extends for almost a thousand kilometres between Cuba and Florida in the Atlantic Ocean. New Providence is the commercial and political centre and is more commonly known as the Bahamas. Nassau is a city without skyscrapers. The historic city centre contains several buildings that date back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Although the city has around a hundred and fifty thousand inhabitants, it looks like a gold digger's town that has prospered at great speed: and in a way that's exactly what it is! In 1492 Christopher Columbus lay anchor on the Bahaman island of San Salvador and in front of Government House a statue duly commemorates the famous adventurer. The next to arrive were pirates, smugglers, settlers and tradesmen. Every kind of fortune hunter was keen to exploit the islands of the Caribbean. Two bridges connect Nassau with Paradise Island and the most modern and spectacular resort in the Bahamas - Atlantis! This, the largest entertainment oasis in the world, has a unique aquarium landscape. In addition to mantas, dolphins and huge turtles it contains more than two hundred species with no less than fifty thousand sea creatures. The South African hotel tycoon, Sol Kerzner, created this fantastic resort. Lagoons surrounded by jungle, relaxing bays, waterfalls, chain link bridges and channels for swimming with rubber hoses create a sensation of excitement and adventure. Channel Cay is one of more than three hundred and sixty five sunny islands of the Exuma Cay where there's a mouth-watering selection of fresh fish and seafood available. The Bahamas: the very name conjures up remote sandy beaches and turquoise blue water, romantic sunsets and tropical nights. A place where fantastic dreams become wonderful reality.

7 Days KENYA || 7DY-DVD-102 - Kenya, 'Kingdom of the Golden Sun' and home of the safari, is one of the world's most fascinating tourist destinations, with its amazing contrasts of jungle, desert, water, snow-covered peaks and green hills.Nairobi features several leisure parks plus the National Museum which offers a good overview of the country's history. The Carnivore Restaurant is also worth a visit and features the many varieties of meat that are to be found in Kenya, cooked to perfection! One of the many lakes in The Great Rift Valley is Lake Naivasha, on the shores of which Joy Adamson raised Elsa the lioness, and her cubs, for the film, 'Born Free'. Lake Nakuru is home to countless thousands of birds and British ornithologist Peter Scott referred to it as 'The largest ornithological spectacle on Earth'. Lake Bogoria is favoured by tens of thousands of pink flamingos, attracted to the many kinds of algae created by the lake's mineral content. The animal-rich Masai Mara, what could be glibly described as 'Hollywood's idea of Africa', is home to the tall and proud Masai people who live in small villages known as, Kraals. It also accommodates the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros. Crocodiles and hippos also lurk. At the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro is the Amboseli National Park, it's savannah not only abundant with elephant, but also a spacious backdrop for the spectacular Masai Mara game reserve...just one part of the kaleidoscope that is Kenya.

7 Days BALI || 7DY-DVD-103 - Bali - island of the gods and gateway to Paradise -- is a relatively small island, east of Java across the Bali Strait, one of 17,000 Indonesian islands. In recent years, luxurious hotel complexes have appeared, tastefully re-creating the island's ethnic traditions. The capital of Bali, Denpasar, is the commercial centre of the island with good shopping facilities and a fascinating variety of entertainment. Colourful dance and drama play an important part in the lives of the Bali people and almost every village has its own dance group, the favourite dance being the Barong. In the north of the island, the 1800 metre high Gunung Batur volcano is still active and in the lat century has erupted four times, its slopes covered in lava fields, which extend deep into the crater. Hindu temples abound, the Pura Kehen being one of the most beautiful terraced temples in Bali and the Pua Besakih, the most revered. At sunset, hundreds of people visit the spectacular though small temple of Tanah Lot which is situated on the top of a volcanic cliff. As in ancient times, rice is still cultivated in the traditional way and ox and plough traverse the fields. Sun drenched beaches, cloud-kissed volcanoes, exquisite ethnic architecture and dreamy temples - it's no wonder that Bali is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in East Asia.
