ABOUT: RIH-DVD-MACHU - Machu Picchu and the Sacred ValleyThis video shows travel by private bus to a weavers' cooperative in Chincero where some travelers learn about natural dyes and weaving along with feasting on cuy, potatoes, and chica. They then arrive at Ollantaytambo to participate in a huge festival with much competitive dancing, fireworks, drinking, and more dancing. The following morning they take a train to kilometer 104 where they disembark and began a daylong trek along the Inca Trail. They arrive at Machu Picchu before sunset and return the following day to capture the rising sun along with sounds of flute music from the guides coaxing the sun to rise. The remainder of the day is spent exploring Machu Picchu including a climb to the top of Wuyanu Picchu.
