ABOUT: RIH-DVD-MYA - Myanmar AdventuresMy 10 day car tour of Myanmar, or Burma, began in Yangon in March 2004. We traveled from Yangon to Bago, Taungoo, Inle Lake, Pindaya Caves, Mandalay, Mt. Popa, Bagan, Paya with a return to Yangon. I saw several temples, called payas where worshippers came to make offerings. Around Inle Lake, I saw local markets, stilt villages, factories and craft shops and lots of leg rowers traveling about. I attended a puppet show in Mandalay and a dated performance in Yangon.
