The Rockies are the eastern range of the North American Cordilleras and extend through Canada for 1,200 kilometres. The Jasper Tramway is Canada's longest and highest cable car and travels up Whistler's Mountain into a world of stunning mountain scenery, not to mention the Jasper National Park which is the largest and most northerly mountain park in Canada. The Columbia Icefield contains around thirty glaciers and is the largest ice mass in the Rockies. Travelling by snow coach, the stunning scenic splendour of the glaciers and the shining sky are in wonderful contrast to the icy light blue depths of the abyss. After raging waterfalls and frozen ice fields the journey moves on to tranquil lakes, a vast area where Man is only a visitor and Nature belongs to the deer, grizzly bears, elk and birds of prey of this region.
